Reaching out for counselling can feel like a big step. Whether you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or simply need a safe space to talk, I offer a warm, supportive and non-judgemental environment where we can work together to help you better understand yourself and find a way forward.

About Me

Taking the step to reach out for support can feel daunting, but it’s also incredibly brave. I’m a warm, compassionate BACP registered counsellor, and I’m here to offer you a space where you can feel truly heard, understood and supported.

Integrating 20 Years of Compassionate Nursing into Counselling

I am a BACP-registered counsellor with over 20 years’ experience working within the NHS, including roles in acute and hospice care. Through this work, I have supported individuals facing a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges, often during some of the most difficult times in their lives.

My experience has given me a deep understanding of how complex and overwhelming life can sometimes feel, and how important it is to have a safe, supportive space to talk.

I work in an integrative and person-centred way, which means I tailor my approach to suit you as an individual. I believe that each person’s experience is unique, and I will work alongside you at your own pace, in a way that feels comfortable and right for you.

My aim is to offer a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, understood and supported.

My Approach

Therapy That Adapts to You

No two stories are the same — that’s why I tailor therapy to suit you, your pace, and what matters most to you. Rather than a one size fits all approach, I see therapy as a collaborative, evolving process where we work together to explore what you need, moment by moment.

To support your unique journey, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, including:

Person-Centred Therapy

Creating a warm, non-judgemental space where you feel truly heard and accepted.

Psychodynamic Theory

Helping you understand how past experiences may still be influencing your present

Compassion-Focused Approaches

Building tools to support emotional regulation, calm, and self-awareness.

Mindfulness & Grounding Techniques

Building tools to support emotional regulation, calm, and self-awareness.

Together, we’ll shape a way of working that feels thoughtful, flexible, and right for where you are in your journey.
